“I’M SO HAPPY YOU ARE HERE”


Tuesday, June 10, 2025, 3 pm


The guided tour with Celina Lunsford, curator and artistic director of the FFF, will provide insights into this exhibition. Starting with the female photographers who have paved the way since the introduction of the medium in Japan, the tour will explore everyday life and its poetic interpretations, as well as the examination of identity and society, and the expansion and exploration of photography.

“HIDDEN ARCHIVES: TOURISM, PHOTOGRAPHY AND COLLECTIVE MEMORY”

This unique combination of two workshops offers a special opportunity to explore tourism in relation to photography and collective memory.

In Frankfurt, Marina Planas Antich invites participants to reflect on the impact of tourism on urban spaces and identities.

The workshop in Mallorca is designed as a visual study trip to the research and cultural centre Casa Planas. The centre houses the most important photographic archive in Europe dedicated to tourist advertising.
